Description

In this weekend course, you will learn the basics of staying safe in deep snow. Focus will be placed on the correct procedure to take when an avalanche accident occurs, and on active search and rescue training. We will also teach you the basics of modern risk management. This includes the proper equipment, tour planning, knowledge of snow and avalanches, and use of evaluation methods. The knowledge gained can be tested out on tour on day 2.
